Preliminary assessment
Before we start a project, we carry out a thorough preliminary evaluation. We assess the likelihood of a successful turnaround in economic, structural and human terms.
As our work is very intensive and personal, and involves a great degree of responsibility, mutual trust and a positive working relationship are essential. Therefore, a central part of this evaluation is the personal level. Is the chemistry right? Do we understand each other? Can we work together openly, directly and honestly? After all, crisis situations and turnarounds inevitably lead to conflict, and not everyone will always agree. This is why mutual trust is so important.
This pre-evaluation is not intended to be an application process, but rather a joint assessment. Do we both have the courage to take this opportunity? We consciously take the time to clarify this. Because if we are going to get involved, then we must do so with full conviction.
Pricing
Our fees are performance-related. For example, we may receive a share of sales or profits following a successful turnaround. Alternatively, long-term participation models are possible, such as a silent partnership or revenue-sharing arrangement. As different models are required for each company and sector, they are negotiated individually.
This means that we share the entrepreneurial risk. We invest our time, energy and expertise. We don’t just provide abstract advice; we implement solutions directly. We only earn money when your company is running successfully again. This creates a fair and transparent model based on mutual respect and sends a strong signal: We stand firmly behind what we do.
KPIs for measuring the success of the turnaround
Measuring success in a turnaround is not always easy. That is why, at the outset, we define KPIs (key performance indicators) that can be measured and that reflect the success of the turnaround. We evaluate our project at regular intervals based on these KPIs and our subjective assessment of whether we are on the right track.
